Lawrenceburg Man Reports Nighttime Attack

   A Lawrenceburg man reported to law enforcement officials last week that he had been assaulted by men who had accused him of raping an acquaintance.

   The twenty-nine-year-old victim reported the incident through the Lawrenceburg Police Department, indicating that the assault had occurred while he was walking along Crescent Factory Road.

   The victim told officers that while walking, he was approached by two men who verbalized the rape allegation. He told officers that he walked to his girlfriend’s home, nearby, but that she instructed him to leave.

   When he got into his vehicle, the victim reports that a bald, black male threw an object at his car, breaking the driver side rear panel window.

   Although they made a sweep of the area, officers reported finding no one suspicious in the area. They did find broken glass lying in the roadway. Damages to the vehicle was estimated to be $500.
